Reality Bending is a collective that focuses on the parallels between art and activism.
The collective is open to anyone involved in the arts such as writers, poets, musicians, artists, etc. They create a piece of work every 6-months (e.g. a zine, film, performance) that utilizes the artistic strategy of reality bending, a technique that deliberately blurs the line between fact and fiction to provoke a re-visiting and questioning of 'established' facts, narratives and truths. This act of infusing reality with fiction dramatizes real world issues that tend to remain invisible, thus, it makes the invisible visible.
The collective also hold screenings, exhibitions and talks based on artistic strategies and the art of political framing.
